Caribbean Architecture in an affluent beach community works well to represent the relaxed atmosphere with formal organization.
This house was designed to appear like the front portion and the rear portion were linked in a remodel at the courtyard. This makes the large building on a small lot appear as a smaller building mass. The linked portion has different wall and roofing material.
The Interior Designer and original owner Sue White-Heinz masterfully designed interior space planning around the architecture. The architecture was therefore able to be designed predominately from the exterior-in rather than interior-out.
