ARCHITECTURE RobertCollins (ARC)'s is an Architecture that focuses on natural boundaries that exist among people and places. The platform for design is two-fold; simplicity of form, material, details and light juxtaposed with the clarity of use and relationships. Emergence of the architectural expression reflects a rigor found within the modernist legacy of Structural Transparency; a work that demonstrates its construction. Simplicity of form and Clarity of experience.
The lives of people and the history of a site provide perspective. Through the weaving of lives and site history, ARC creates space as a forum in which a culture is crafted, melodious and enthralling; Architecture, a built space embracing living.
Life is about phenomena, values, intersections and rituals. Some examples are very specific like where the sun hits at 10 am or 4:30 pm. Emphasis on each project's potential spatial-light qualities and simplicity of materials centers on the dynamic nature of ecology.
