Conceptualized in 2000 and created in 2003 Aesthetic Effect, LLC is uniquely designed to express a multi-faceted approach to Architecture and Project Collaboration.
As Visionary, Entrepreneur, Owner and Principal; Daniel L. McPeak utilizes top notch business and artistic skills to construct a physical venue to accommodate the expectations and needs of clientele by achieving the highest caliber of service and design. Not limiting involvement to Private Clientele, the firm also serves as consultant to other Architects of Record, Design Firms, General Contractors, Code Officials and Academic Entities.
Aesthetic Effect, LLC has developed a sensibility to style that encompasses all without specific archetype.
Our commitment to collaborate effectively and efficiently inspires our clientele to realize dreams by being actively involved in the process of the project are quintessential to success. Out of solitary significance of self to the warm embrace of family, community and society; distinctive and yet functional spaces emerge that capture the inherent qualities of each project.
Reputation marks the firm for the design of high quality projects in locales that range from the Ocean Coasts of New England, Deserts of the Southwest, Mountain Regions, Open Spaces of the Midwest and to the Islands of the Caribbean.
Daniel has earned a Master of Architecture with Distinction from the University of Michigan and studied Architecture and cultures abroad. He is also a Registered Architect in Massachusetts and Arizona, works toward sustainable solutions. He continues to stay on the leading edge of practice by augmenting professional education with membership to the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Friends of the Taliesin Fellows (FTF), Preservation Trust of Frank Lloyd Wright, University of Michigan Alumni Association (UMAA), Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA), and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Nation Council of Architecture Registration Board (NCARB) certification allows Daniel license transfer to any state where projects materialize.

• Residential Designs – New: -19 projects ranging in square footage from 1500 to 8000, locations in Sonoita, Sahuarita, Pima Canyon, historic Downtown Tucson, Tucson Proper, the foothills of Tucson, Civano Community in Tucson as well as Chicago. Design Sensitivity to Sustainable Architecture. • Residential Airpark Design – New: -1 Project with multiple programmatic components, located Adjacent to taxiway/Airstrip in Oro Valley. A 5200 SF residence, A detatched 3 Car Garage w/ integrated Workshop and Small Airplane Hanger as included. Design Sensitivity to Sustainable Architecture as well as planning for the Aerial Aesthetic for the approaching aircraft. • Residential Design for Additions + Remodels + Speculative Planning: -9 Projects ranging in complexity from retrofit to preservation, Locations in Tucson, Vail, Peaks Island, Me as well as Chicago. • Ranch Design – additions, Remodels, Restoration & Preservation: -1 Project with multiple programmatic components, Addition / Remodel to Main Hacienda, new Office/Media Building, Detached bedroom Suites, Exercise Pavilion & Art Pavilion, Renovation of Horse Barn, Restoration of two turn of the century cowboy houses and a Preservation of circa 1840’s School house/stagecoach stop/Old Western Movie Location all located on a working ranch near Sasabe, AZ. Design Sensitivity to Sustainable Architecture. • Institutional: - 1 Addition / Renovation to an existing classroom facility of a Montessori School Complex located in Tucson. • Villa Design – Virgin Islands: -9 Villa Complex Schematic Design, Design Development, and construction drawings, detailing, coastal code compliance including pool & expansive landscape package, and natural paths & patios. West Indies + modern Vernacular located in St. John USVI. Requires a Maximum Design Sensitivity to Sustainable Architecture and Fragile Island Ecosystems. • Villa Design Collaboration- Dubai, UAE: -7 Villa & 4 Townhouse projects collaboration at the Schematic Design & Design Development Phases, process set-up and production refinement, Employed digital formating for presentation & delivery overseas. Work completed in Metric. • Private Client: -14 New Projects, Additions, Renovations &/or Sketches for Clients located on Mid-coast & Peaks Island, Maine; Cape Ann & Auburn, Mass; Midland, MI, The White Mountains, AZ and Civano Community of Tucson. -Preservation work on The Jager Log Cabin circa 1930 located on Lake Vermilion, Northern Minnesota -Hospitality Design for 25 room Hotel located Mid-Coast Maine -Professional Consultation Advice associated with other firms/clients on projects located on Peaks Island, Maine and St. John, USVI.
