The Affinity Health System Pediatric Clinic was intended to ease anxiety children feel when visiting the doctor. Design concepts for the clinic centered on the team’s desire to create a facility where efficient, high-quality medical care can be provided within the framework of a healing environment. The branding of the overall design image makes use of natural materials indigenous to the regions, while the building form creates a contemporary design with distinct architectural character.
Through the use of sustainable design and green building materials, this facility has focused on creating a LEED certified, sustainable building capable of supporting Affinity Health System’s commitment to ongoing improvement of services and quality healthcare delivery.
