[edit] Discussion
Staff architect for National Biscuit Company (now Nabisco), designing buildings at the company's west Manhattan/ Chelsea site from a period of at least 1905 through 1913.
Zimmerman also designed numerous various additional Nabisco structures throughout the United States, including buildings in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Zimmerman was succeeded in his role at Nabisco by James Torrance (circa mid-1910s onward, possibly as late as 1926) and Louis Wirsching, Jr., who designed a 1932 replacement for a series of late-1900s buildings on the east side of 10th avenue.
