This building was home to the Albina Fuel Company for 80 years, from 1925 to 2005, when the business vacated the premises.

In 2007, the city of Portland apparently approved a permit application to build a 2-building condominium development on a site that includes 3246 NE Broadway St.

The planned project encompasses two buildings including 319 condominium units and 43,000 square feet of retail space. On February 08, 2008, the city placed an administrative hold on all permits relating to the project.
