"Constructed in 1906, Alexander House was the home of the Rev. John Alexander, a Maryville alumnus and member of the Board of Directors, and his wife, Jane, who taught at the college. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, the home has now been renovated to provide office space. Its first floor is used by Leadership Blount, a nonprofit leadership development program with which the college is closely tied. The college's development office uses the second floor.
