"With its white stucco exterior and red clay tile roof, the Alexander Kasser Theater echoes the architecture of the university's older Spanish Mission-style structures. The 500-seat auditorium, which can be configured with an orchestra pit, was designed for theater, dance, and musical events. The theater also has an outdoor plaza and an arcaded loggia. On the north side of the building is a newly renovated amphitheater that was constructed in the 1930s. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
