Firm was established in 1975 by Arch. Morad Bebawy, and in 1981 arch. Meleka Farah joined him. Since then the firm has been known as The Architects Morad Bebawy and Meleka Farah Bureau.
This establishment stemmed from the idea of utilizing the experience of the firm's founders which they had accumulated during their practice at the public Buildings Authority and the Arab Bureau for Design and Technical Consultations.
Since its start, the firm has undertaken various projects, not confined to residential buildings; this has gained it a reputable name in touristic projects, office and service Buildings, as well as residential projects.
This variation in project types has had its positive resonance on projects assigned to the firm in view of the comprehensive expertise gained by the work team.
The firm has also had the chance of working with elite consultants specialized in structural & electromechanical works which represented an important addition to the firm's projects.
Finally, the variety of projects in addition to cooperation with elite specialized consultants has resulted in the emergence of a consultancy firm capable of dealing with the wide variables in the ,architectural filed, together with deep study of the parameters of other disciplines serving the consultancy work. أسس المكتب المهندس مراد راغب بباوى سنة 1975 وانضم إليه سنة 1981 المهندس مليكة فرح مليكة وعرف المكتب منذ هذا التاريخ بمكتب المعماريان مراد بباوى ومليكة فرح
وكان الهدف من تأسيس المكتب استثمار خبراتهم التي اكتسباها من خلال عملهم بمصلحة المباني الأميرية والمكتب العربي للتصميمات والاستشارات الهندسية
وقد عمل المكتب منذ انشائة على الدخول فى مشروعات متنوعة مع التركيز على المباني الدينية مما اكسب المكتب سمعة طيبة في المشروعات الدينية والسياحية والإدارية والخدمية بالإضافة إلى المشروعات السكنية
وقد كان لهذا التنوع في مشروعات المكتب مردودة الايجابي على المشروعات التي أسندت لهم نظرا للخبرة الشاملة التي تراكمت لفريق العمل بالمكتب
كما كان للمكتب حظ وافر في التعامل مع نخبة من الاستشاريين المتخصصين في الأعمال الإنشائية والكهروميكانيكية مما مثل إضافة واضحة لمشروعات المكتب
وأخيرا فان نتاج التنوع في المشروعات بالإضافة إلى التعاون مع نخبة من الاستشاريين المتخصصين أفرزت مكتب استشاري قادر على التعامل مع متغيرات عريضة في الحقل المعماري مع دراسة واسعة بمعطيات التخصصات الأخرى في خدمة العمل الاستشاري الهندسي
