"After building a new athletic facility, Chatham College renovated its 1950s gymnasium to serve as its Art & Design Center. The structure retains its brick walls, large central space, and high windows. But the ground floor now accommodates offices and ceramics and sculpture studios, while the main level houses facilities for printmaking, painting, landscape architecture, and interior architecture. A new steel bridge connects upper-level spaces and gallery and observation space. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
