Sweeny Sterling Finlayson &Co has been retained by BMW Canada to help them develop their new headquarters project north of Toronto. After crafting a specification document for a turn-key facility &Co worked with the short-listed developers to develop buildings that have a construction cost comparable to “Standard ‘A’ type” suburban office buildings yet feature state of the art systems and technologies found in all of Sweeny Sterling Finlayson &Co’s “Work&” buildings.
The new Canadian headquarters will be LEED Certified (silver level) with dramatically reduced initial tenant fitup, furniture, ongoing operating and churn costs. The main facade faces a major highway (407) and it is designed to reflect BMW’s stellar reputation for performance, innovative design and quality.
