[edit] Discussion

In 1958, Jack Broome and Charles Selig founded Broome Selig Oringdulph in Gresham, Oregon. The firm focused on the design of schools and small commercial buildings. By 1969, the firm had added partners and become Broome, Oringdulph, O’Toole, Rudolf, and Associates (BOORA). The expanded firm moved to the historic Abbott Mills Residence in the Nob Hill neighborhood in Northwest Portland. Today, Boora occupies a highly flexible, LEED Platinum studio in the historic Morgan Building in the heart of downtown Portland. —Boora Firm History at Boora web site
