"bSIDE6 is a 7-story commercial workstudio building with ground floor retail space. The building utilizes an exposed posttension concrete trame to space the lot, leaving floor plates. It stretches its north face to create a relationship the historical arcaded structures located to the east. The building becomes a simple diagram of overlappmg skins that expand or compress to 'site' itself in this particular location. The interstitial spaces created ecome a mix of interior glass-walled 'city rooms' and exterior space that also provides pedestrian protection." -- W.PA
