Biography -- Barry Bebart, AIA
Barry Bebart is a licensed architect, practicing for twenty-five years in Chicago and the Midwest. Working as project manager or as project architect, Barry has led architectural teams on numerous design award-winning projects, including law offices, corporate headquarters, corporate offices, educational spaces, retail stores, and residences. Barry is licensed in the States of Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin and is a City of Chicago Self Certification Architect.
Since March 2009, Barry has been the principal of Barry Bebart Architecture P.C. Clients of Barry Bebart Architecture P.C. include Golub & Co., First Northern Credit Union and Univision Broadcasting.
As part of his architectural practice, Barry has been actively involved in the analysis and calculations of BOMA tenant lease areas for pre-lease studies, building analysis, post-lease area dispute resolutions and in full-building lease area calculations. He has also lectured to Architectural firms, Interior Design firms and Commercial Real Estate Brokerage firms regarding BOMA lease calculation methods.
Barry is a frequent guest reviewer at the IIT Architecture School graduate and undergraduate programs and has spoken at the National Association of Realtors National Convention and the Natural Resources Defense Council National Convention.
