"Baylor's new science building houses the chemistry, physics, geology, and biology departments behind a curving colonnade inscribed with verse from the New Testament's Book of Colossians: "By Him all things are made; in Him all things are held together." The building contains 33 classrooms, including a 300-seat auditorium, as well as 161 offices for faculty members, 75 teaching labs, and 78 research labs (the building has a total of 260 vent hoods). About 80,000 square feet of space is unfinished in anticipation of the university's future needs. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
