[edit] Services

Taylor Design Build offers Architectural and Construction services for the Tucson area. Mainly working in Southeast Arizona services extend into Oro Valley, Marana, Oracle, Canyon Pass and the Catalina Foothills area along with projects near Patagonia.

DESIGN + BUILD is a continuous process developed over the past 25 years to provide clients with a single point of responsibility for both design creativity and building integrity. It gives an owner the convenience and the continuity of one entity during the extended period of time that it takes to bring a unique home into being.

[edit] Focus

HIGH END RESIDENTIAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

Custom homes focusing on modern and sustainable principles, employing water harvesting and solar energy technologies.

"ARCHITECTURAL SPACES that are well designed have a subtle but discernible sense of things belonging...a kind of holistic fit, a 'right with the world' feeling. With each new client we want to design something fitting, beautiful, extraordinary and exceed everyone's expectations, including our own. The recent evolving interest in things green and sustainable coincides with our long-term philosophy of seeking an appropriate fit of architectural forms to the entire environmental context. "Green", after all is essentially the new 'pragmatic' updated to current environmental realities. Green and sustainable trends are woven into our primary aesthetic responsibility."

[edit] Projects

CANYON PASS - WINNER OF 2007 AIA UNBUILT DESIGN AWARD FOR SOUTHERN ARIZONA

"Since views were limited in the hidden bowl-like topography of this site, the main floor of the house is raised a full level above the desert terrain, providing panoramic views and a second floor sense of security.

Thoughtful site planning preserved all of the giant Saguaros of this fabulous rocky desert landscape. The employement of cantilevered spaces insured the Saguaro's long term survial by leaving their extensive roots system intact.

The Canyon Pass Residence is currently in it's final stages of construction..."
