"The Brooklyn Green Rowhouses are the first full block of “green rowhouses” in Baltimore City and are being marketed to low- to moderate-income, first-time home buyers, for whom it is critical that energy costs be kept as low as possible.
"The goal was to prove that low to moderate income housing could be green as well as affordable. To achieve that goal, the houses incorporate such energy saving and sustainable features as a “green roof,” super-insulated shell utilizing “smart framing” techniques, a high-efficiency mechanical system, and solar hot water roof top collectors." - Cho Benn Holback + Associates
