As a working principal, Paul Butler is involved daily in a hands-on architectural practice. Mr. Butler is recognized as not only as an able designer but one of the most well rounded architects available today. In addition to his engaging style in architectural design and he has established a reputation for sound architectural planning. In addition, he is noted by local, state, and national clients as an architect with an attention to detail within limited timeframes. Moreover, he employs a diligence to oversee challenging, complex projects, and management assignments. This is the only manner in which to stay fluent with projects from inception to completion and to meet the expectations of clients.
Mr. Butler’s firm managed the planning and logistics for the Taba Resort, Gulf of Aquaba, Cairo, Egypt, and the New Chapel for Blountsprings, Alabama – a new town, Planned By Duany Plater-Zyberk. Clients include The University of Alabama, The Universities of Montevallo, Troy, Auburn University, Alabama and Montgomery, Pike, County and City of Auburn School Systems, Auburn, Alabama, and the City of Montgomery, Troy, and Auburn to name a few.
Mr. Butler is nationally and internationally credited with the International Architecture Competition for the Olympic Landmark 2012, Paris, France, Holocaust and Human Rights Center HHRC Design Competition, University of Maine, the World Trade Center Design Competition. In Alabama, Mr. Butler was awarded the renovation design project for the Kappa Sigma House at Auburn University, Student Center-Multi-Plex Faulkner University, Montgomery, AL, Preservation of Bryce Hospital, Tuscaloosa, AL, design of a New City of Troy Alabama Library
