City College of San Francisco’s new Student Health Center is located on the strategic corner of Phelan and Judson, the North gateway to the Ocean Avenue campus. This new 22,000 square foot modern health care facility serves City College’s diverse community of students with trained medical staff. Serving general medical needs, psychological counseling, eye examinations, HIV counseling and testing, as well as alternative health care, the new Center provides care to over 20,000 students a year.
The program includes patient registration, triage, consultation, treatment rooms, exam rooms and psychological consultation rooms. Support spaces include a multi-use room, nurse practitioner workroom, medical records-and-billing and administration area. The second floor of the building is home to ten new classrooms. This level is directly accessible to cloud circle, the main campus thoroughfare, via a new bridge, which extends from the main corridor.
