As Senior Principal and a Founding Principal, Charles Davis has been a key contributor to EHDD’s body of work as well as an important developer of the firm’s architectural philosophy and practice. With nearly 50 years of experience, Chuck is recognized as an expert in the design of aquariums, zoos, and museums. In 2003, Charles Davis received the Maybeck award from the AIA California Council in recognition of his outstanding achievement in architectural design. In 2010, he received the Wendy Fisher Award, Association of Zoos and Aquariums for “his inventive, inclusive and inquisitive spirit and for his transformative contributions to aquarium design”.
