"This new building provides offices and laboratory space for eight faculty members in the chemistry department and for their graduate students. The labs are modular, allowing researchers to add or abandon space as necessary. The offices are in a smaller wing. Designed in the red-brick, Federal-style idiom of the Hopkins campus, the building replaces a 40-year-old structure on the same site. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
