| Area | 115,000 square feet ( square meters) |
"Designed to fit into a neighborhood of Classical Revival buildings from the 1920s, this building matches their brick and stone while employing contemporary elements and massing. It houses a 550-seat, two-story dining hall with floor-to-ceiling windows, EcoSmart flueless fireplaces, and a 6,000-square-foot production and serving area. A 24-hour mini-market and cafe is on the first floor near both the entrance and a series of computer stations for student use. The first floor also has a large, open social space that looks out onto a new quadrangle. Elsewhere in the building are a fitness center, a post office, administrative offices, meeting rooms, and lounges. The building is designed for LEED silver certification.
