"This four-story building was designed to meet a wide range of laboratory needs in engineering, computer sciences, and basic research. The building has a modular lab design so that the university will be able to adapt the space as needed for many years to come. It is also intended to encourage interaction among faculty members, students, and researchers at both the university and its medical center. The project was delayed by the July 2006 fighting.
