[edit] Discussion
This small house was built on a steeply sloping site. The house was designed for the parents of Su Rogers, Richard Rogers' wife at the time and partner in Team 4.
Uphill from the house is a roadway; and downhill is a creek and existing boathouse. A 5.5m (18ft) tall wall buffers the house from the roadway along its 43m (141ft) length.
The house won the 1969 RIBA Award for Work of Outstanding Quality. The house has a Grade II* listing in the English Heritage National Monuments Record.
