"Prominently located on the first floor of the university's Van Pelt Dietrich Library, a Modernist brick-and-concrete structure completed in 1966, the new Information Commons offers seating for close to 200 students. Group-study settings include private study rooms, cafe-like booths, and flexible open spaces. A digital-media lab and a 25-seat seminar room were part of the project, as are spaces for a writing center, oral-presentation coaching, and other kinds of academic assistance.
