[edit] Discussion

"A significant and characteristic example of the work of internationally recognised architect, Enrico Taglietti and his first commission from the National Capital Development Commission (NCDC). The building exhibits an advanced design in architecture for Canberra. The design solution, a sculptural building form in an urban context was conceived as a peninsular attached to a shopping complex and attempted to create a piazza or town square in front of the building. A wall to enclose the square was never built. The interior design is significant and provides an open plan solution, with a central mezzanine level articulating areas for children, adults and display and creating an intimate interior." – [1]
