"The university's law center has been slowly creating a campus for itself, not in Georgetown but near Union Station. The Hotung Center, one of two new buildings, houses an international law library, classrooms, seminar rooms, and a moot courtroom that resembles that of the U.S. Supreme Court. The building (above left) is attached to the Sport and Fitness Center, which is also new. Along with the existing Gewirz Residence Hall and the law center's 1970 main building, designed by the architect Edward Durrell Stone, the two new structures define a quadrangle with a miniature campanile and an expanse of lawn.
