"This LEED-registered classroom building is the latest addition to the academic core of Stockton College. The facility houses 11 classrooms, a lecture hall, tiered computer labs, study lounges, and faculty offices, and creates a new entry to the campus's primary pedestrian route. Built over an existing one-story science-lab area, the new two-story wing encloses a skylit atrium that brings natural light to the adjacent academic wing and establishes a more prominent approach to the existing library wing. The design echoes materials and rhythms from the original campus design, while taking advantage of such modern technologies as photovoltaics and an aquifer-based thermal-energy system.
