"Duggan Morris have carefully modified a couple of existing office buildings to create two co-joined but separately lettable spaces, each with a similar character but at the same time different. In carrying out the refurbishment they have retained as much of the existing fabric as possible so that the interventions are pared down and elemental. The apparent simplicity belies the fact that this was a complex refurbishment. The simplicity and clarity of the spaces created, and the sheer elegance of the inserted elements - red-brown balustrading, light fittings and way-finding against white backgrounds - are the result of an almost obsessive attention to detail. There are no irrelevant flourishes. Every design move has been proportionate, deliberate and embeds the pared down character of the building." -- RIBA
