Discussion

At the Food Theater Cafe, a characteristically deconstructivist jumbled, angular composition results in a delightful sculptural folly, in which one can sip and eat. There is no fully enclosed space, but a delighful smorgasborg of continuously variable degrees of enclosure. As one circumnavigates the structure, its bold slivery silhouette changes convolving at an amazing rate, presenting new shapes almost with every step.

As for the practicalities of this sturdy but movable building, the cafe keeps a sign ready to hand for rainy days, with words to the effect that they're 'closed due to inclement weather'. But no worries — rain or shine, this building radiates life.
