The Guthrie Theater project is designed by Jean Nouvel and is described as a "stunning presence on the river (Mississippi)." The Guthrie is located in downtown Minneapolis on the west bank of the Mississippi River at 818 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415.
