The firm of Harry Brand Architects and Town Planners was established in 1970 and is now incorporating its second generation. The practice spans the spectrum of regional planning through urban and local district planning, to detailed architectural design. The range in scale of projects is paralleled by the range in subject, including integrated regional studies, industrial parks and buildings, residential neighbourhoods, office and corporate parks and commercial centres. The recognised expertise of the firm is in the field of industrial planning and development.
Notable projects in this field are the Tefen Industrial Park, the Caesaria Business Park, the Jerusalem Technology Park and the Beck Science Center in Jerusalem. The firm also specialises in the development and application of advanced building techniques, including a variety of innovative design solutions which have led to significant savings in time and cost, while maintaining high standards of quality. Among these was the development of the award winning system for the Garrun High Tech Park and a modular building system for the Defence Establishment, which enabled the efficient building and redeployment of military camps after the withdrawal from Sinai.
