[edit] Discussion
Ictinus was an ancient Greek architect, active in Athens during the rule of Pericles, circa -440. Ictinus is associated with Greek contemporaries Phidias, who are also credited in the creation of the Parthenon.
(Ictinus is also spelled Iktinos. Callicrates is also spelled Kallikrates.)
