"The university's new 9.9-acre medical-school campus has four buildings. Two are large: a four-story, 114,000-square-foot teaching and administration building, and a 184,000-square-foot biomedical-research building, also four stories. There are also a single-story, 8,500-square-foot structure housing child-care and fitness facilities, and an 11,500-square-foot mechanical and electrical building. The buildings are clad in colored concrete panels and have Hawaiian-style hipped roofs, as well as a decorative band featuring such motifs as wind, water, and DNA. The buildings were constructed to LEED standards. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
