Biography
John Savage Bolles, FAIA. (b.June 25, 1905 in Berkeley, CA; d. March 5, 1983 in Santa Rosa, CA)
Bachelor of Engineering, University of Oklahoma, 1926.
Master of Architecture, Harvard University, 1932.
Noted architect in the San Francisco Bay Area from the 1950s onward. Bolles also taught seminars at Harvard University and was active in the San Francisco chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Bolles also worked on archeological projects responsible for documenting ancient cities in Iran and Mexico.
