"The Recreation and Wellness Center occupies a key site between the academic core and the residential precinct of this new campus. The building is set back from the street to create an arrival plaza and preserve views, and a colonnade shelters the building's entries. The cardio and weight-training facility, the multipurpose room, and the gymnasium are organized around a core of locker rooms and restrooms, with the busiest spaces -- like the cardio and weight-training rooms -- located in highly visible areas.
