[edit] Discussion

Julius Shulman was an American architectural photographer known for his iconic photography of Modern architecture in the middle of the 20th century. Shulman's photography from that time included the works of Richard Neutra, Rudolf M. Schindler, and Raphael Soriano. But it is perhaps Shulman's striking 1960 photograph of Pierre Koenig's Case Study House 22 for which he is best known.

In 2000, Shulman established a partnership with photographer Juergen Nogai, ending what had been his retirement.

Julius Shulman died on July 15, 2009 at his home in Los Angeles, California.
