[edit] Discussion
The Kansai Terminal Airport was designed by the architect Renzo Piano and his team of designers and finished in 1994. The main terminals’ roof design mimics the wing of an airplane. This wing shape design allows for the inhabitants to flow through the structure like the wind over a wing. The interior also represents vast canyon and in some areas exposes all four levels giving a traveler a sense of immense surrounding space similar to that of the great distance one undergoes in jet travel.
