"In 1984 a competition was held to design a new campus in Utuado. The firm that has since evolved into Marvel & Marchand won and designed the university's first buildings between 1986 and 1991, but construction of the library did not start until 2004. The main entrance divides the interior spaces into two zones. One holds offices, an audio-visual center, and information-processing and computer-training laboratories. The other houses books, periodicals, and reference materials, together with more than 200 computer stations for students. Windows provide views of the lush vegetation surrounding the campus.
