For its new Canadian Headquarters in Brampton, Loblaw’s wanted more than just a fancy new building—it wanted an environment that would drive better results. It wanted increased employee satisfaction, higher productivity and faster problem solving. It wanted better communication and crisper brand awareness. It wanted a tighter focus on the company’s goals.
Loblaw’s new &Co-designed headquarters reflects the same principles of confidence, adaptability, freshness and comfort that guide the impression created by each of its retail stores across the country. Like the stores themselves, the message conveyed by the new head office is one of connection to its customers—who, like those working at Loblaw’s, want to derive value from their day, take pride in their work and enjoy the environments that make up the fabric of their existence. A trip to the grocery store should be a pleasure, not just a necessity. Walk into Loblaw headquarters and you experience the same feeling as you would in any one of its individual outlets: We’re growing together.
