Building Details

Built for Canada's largest company at the time, MacMillan Blodel (purchased by Weyerhauser in 1999). The project initially appears to be composed of two towers, but it is in fact just one structure with offsets on either side. The bare concrete walls and slim appearance make the tower one of Vancouver's most recognizable buildings, however, due to more recent construction, the tower is no longer as prominent in the city's skyline. In 1969 it was awarded both BOMA's and CAIA's "Building of the Year".
