Building Details
Client University of Pennsylvania
Cost $16.9-million
Area 48,000 square feet ( square meters)

"Expanding the university's School of Engineering and Applied Science, Levine Hall fits into a difficult midblock site between substantial brick buildings. Rather than add another massive-looking structure, the architects created a glazed pavilion that forms the fourth side of a courtyard and completes circulation loops within the complex. The building has offices, labs, meeting rooms, and a 150-seat auditorium. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
