"Open to the public as well as to the Chapman community, the Fish Interfaith Center features universal symbols of spirituality -- light, water, nature, and the heavens. The center's sanctuary seats 250, while a smaller chapel seats 50. The center also includes offices, a courtyard, a "garden of the senses" that mixes the sounds of falling water with the scents of blooming flowers, and a columbarium for urns containing the ashes of alumni, faculty and staff members, their families, and friends of the university.
