Merritt McPherson Cieslak has been designing facilities for clients for over seven decades in Michigan and surrounding states. Since the firm's founding in 1934, we have specialized in knowing how to bring clients needs together with their desires and within their budgets.
Success has not come from size. Merritt, McPherson Cieslak is a mid-sized architectural firm located in Farmington, Michigan. Our size has given us the ability to pursue the planning and design of a wide variety of building types in a wide range of project sizes. Our firm is managed by its two principals, Mark S. McPherson and Ronald A. Cieslak. Due to the size of our firm and the active role played by the firm principals, we offer a personal approach to addressing our clients design needs.
We have developed a simple method for delivering design solutions; listening, teamwork and planning. We realize that there is no such thing as a typical project. Each project is composed of a unique set of criteria and circumstances. Together, all of these factors combine to create a situation which requires a unique design solution; a solution suited to the personality, character and needs of the particular client. Our approach to design requires us to be as skilled at listening and observing as we are at directing and providing leadership. The success of this process is confirmed by our list of repeat clients, many of whom go back several decades.
