"Middlebury's new library centers on a large open rotunda offering views of the building's three floors as well as the Vermont landscape. The building offers a cafe, 10 rooms for quiet or group study, and numerous other study areas. The library has a buildingwide wireless network, two media viewing rooms, and a media lab devoted to multimedia recording, editing, and presentation. Sophisticated climate-control systems and energy-efficient lighting are incorporated throughout the building. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
