"Designed with the forms and materials of more traditional campus structures in mind, this building houses the School of Business, the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering, and the Department of Mathematics. Classrooms are housed in a two-story wing, while faculty offices are found in a three-story wing; the building also houses laboratories, conference rooms, and a cafe. The two wings are joined by a two-story lobby with common spaces intended to promote informal exchanges among students and faculty members. Sustainable design features are included throughout -- among them recycled steel, daylight in every room, and a system of 83 geothermal pumps 300 feet underground -- and the building achieved a LEED Gold certification.
