[edit] Discussion
The property was purchased by Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz in 1991. From the best I can determine that was when the house described here was demolished and replaced with the current home, a four bedroom 5,470 square-foot home. The result of the work and the encroachment into the adjacent park has resulted in a now long running controversy.
