The New York Academy of Sciences New Headquarters is located on the 40th floor of the newly built 7 World Trade Center (2006), a speculative office building located at 250 Greenwich Street, in Lower Manhattan adjacent to the former site of the World Trade Center twin towers.
"The design of the new headquarters establishes a forward-looking identity that reinvents a prominent New York institution. The new 40,000-square-foot home better reflects the Academy’s progressive mission and allows it to enhance its prominent position, locally and globally, as a builder of scientific communities and disseminator of scientific information. The new offices provide state-of-the-art office and conferencing facilities for groups as small as 30 and as big as 300."-H3 Hardy Collaboration Architecture[1]
