He is currently the Chairman of the Reconstruction and Resettlement Council of the Cyprus Government.

He is the representative of the Cyprus Goverment in the Technical sub-committe for the “Environment - Sustainable Development” of the European Union.

He is member of: Evaluation Committee for Private Universities, CYMERA, Cyprus Architects Association, Technical Chamber of Greece, Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus.

Has been appointed by the Cyprus Government (Council of Ministers) to the Consulting body for the registration of Architects and Civil Engineers.

As a professional architect since 1973, he has worked in Greece, S. Arabia and Cyprus.

Has been involved in the study of a broad spectrum of projects in the public and the private sector.

He was candidate for Mayor of Nicosia in the municipal elections of 2006. He was supported by an independent movement called Protevousa Kinisi.

He is also teaching architecure at Frederick University in Nicosia
