Oli Mahmud completed his bachelor in architecture from Khulna University in 2002 and commenced his career in “Bashat architects”. In 2006 Mahmud established his own practice on the platform Oli Mahmud Architects. Indigenous Training Institute by Mahmud has achieved Highly Commended Cityscape Award in 2010. His design ideas has been exhibited at MAK,Vienna in 2010. His research design work "Degree of Urbanism" has been presented at UIA-2011, Tokyo.
